Our 11 robotic hot forging lines are the beating heart of our production. Thanks to advanced technologies and a cutting-edge automation system, we are able to guarantee precise, rapid and continuous production.
Each phase of the process is constantly monitored to ensure the highest quality, from the melting of the material to the production of the finished component. Our lines are designed to work with different types of steel and to produce components of variable dimensions, adapting to the specific needs of each customer.
MATERIAL STOCK
The raw material to be transformed, consisting of bundles of steel bars, is stored in an area of over 1,500 square meters. Here the bundles are divided by material and taken to the shearing department at the time of processing.
CAD/CAM DESIGN
Bersano Carlo is able to take care of the design of molds. To optimize the development of molds and equipment, FEM simulation software for hot stamping is used. The technical office takes care of the development of production equipment projects and machining programs for machine tools, with the help of latest-generation CAD/CAM systems.
MOLD MAKING
The machine tools installed in the mold construction department consist mainly of high-speed CNC-controlled lathes and milling machines. In this way, molds and equipment can be made entirely within the company.
SHEARING DEPARTMENT<br>
The raw material passes through the shearing department where three cold shearing machines and a disk saw are installed. Here the bars are cut into pieces and prepared for the heating and molding phase.
HOT FORGING
The Forno plant has 4 hot forging lines, while the Busano plant has 7 lines, equipped with electric induction heating furnaces and presses for forming and deburring operations, partly served by automated loading and unloading systems.
We produce components up to 100 kg.
